Quilts
Each congregation is encouraged to create a quilt block which represents some facet of your congregation. This could be pieced, appliqued, treated photo or other block which somehow represents and identifies your congregation. To serve as a suggestion so that there will be unity in the piece we would like these colors of the synod logo (see left). Please use cream rather than white, for neutral. The Oregon Synod logo is available for download.

We hope that you will recruit someone soon to determine what will best represent your congregation. We ask that the blocks be sent no later than April15 th , 2007

The critical information is: all cotton fabric in synod logo colors and labeled from your congregation. (For example, Zion, The Dalles).

Dimensions: finished will be 7 x 8 inch, but sent block should
measure 7 ½ w x 8 ½ h inch (as exact as possible, please)!
