St. Stephen Lutheran Church in Gladstone has a job opening for an Executive Assistant position. The Executive Assistant must have excellent customer service skills and must be outcome-oriented. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail is essential. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Publisher and especially Powerpoint) is required, as are excellent verbal and written communication skills, flexibility, a professional demeanor, and discretion when working with confidential information. Being organized and managing multiple priorities efficiently is especially critical for this position.
Performs clerical duties including, but not limited to phones, faxing, photocopying, mailing, emailing, scanning, data entry, and maintaining electronic and hard-copy filing system. Weekly duties include creation and editing of programs, flyers, and presentations.
Part-time position (20 hours/week). Specific office hours are somewhat flexible; wages dependent upon experience.
